Who likes chocolate?

We've got a chocolate and pink treasury here, featuring a 3D owl figure designed and crafted by our own team member, Quilly Nilly!  Pink and Brown and Teal and Brown have been very popular for a few years now.  Brown and Grey are softer alternatives to black when you are seeking a neutral colour to pair with something else.  I love brown - especially the chocolate family of browns!

Neutral is Easy Going

If you ever have trouble matching colours and patterns, then keep a strong pallet of neutrals to help. Neutrals, like black, white, grey and all shades of brown, can be used to quiet a colour pallet and let one accent colour shine all the brighter.

For some easy on the eyes neutrals, our team member, Fairy Cardmaker, was recently featured in an all neutral treasury with her quilled baby bear card. Sometimes, at a baby shower, neutral is the only way to go!

Fall: The Calm before the Storm

Fantastic Fringes

Our team member, Dazzling Delight, had her paper fringed flower book thong featured in a treasury celebrating fringes of all kinds!  A fringe is an outer edge or margin including, for example, a decorative border.  As it applies to paper quilling, a fringe is a quilling strip of paper with even slits cut all down it.  When this paper is rolled, the slits spread from each other, emanating from the centre of the coil.  It's a really pretty effect!
